Another teen top model from the fashion industry is all set to make her debut in the Bollywood film industry very soon and this time, the model is Anushka Sharma. The sources from the industry have informed that Anushka is going to make a grand debut in the industry, as she has been paired against the `Bollywood Badshah`, Shah Rukh Khan for the upcoming film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The sources added that the film is being produced by one of the leading production houses of Bollywood, Yash Raj Films and the famous filmmaker, Aditya Chopra is going to direct the film.

This will be the first directorial venture for Aditya Chopra after quite a long period of eight years and the Yash Raj Films has recently made an official announcement regarding the film and its casts in Mumbai. The Chairman of Yash Raj Films, Mr. Yash Chopra has made the announcement and said, "We were looking first and foremost for someone who could truly embody the spirit of small town Punjab and we know we have found her in Anushka. And while she has no previous acting experience, we have seen that unique spark in her that makes us confident that she will be a standout even opposite Shah Rukh".

Mr. Chopra added, "Hopefully, the announcement will end all the speculation and conjecture that had started about the identity of the female lead ever since the film was announced". The sources from the industry have informed that Anushka has not done any type of acting in her career so far and she has already earned a lot of appreciations for her wonderful modeling skills. Anushka was also seen as one of the models in the grand finale of the last Fashion Week, designed by premium fashion designer, Wendell Rodrick. She has also done some product campaigns so far in her career. The sources further informed that the shooting of the film, Rab ne Bana di Jodi is likely to start on 16th May and it is scheduled to come into the theatres worldwide on 12th December.
